| Bio: | Layout from LJLayouts.org. I'm an 18-year old college student with aspirations to be a published author. I write just about anything, fan fic and original, fantasy, love stories, sci-fi, adventure, tragedy, etc... I also love Christian fiction, and that's probably the genre I want to eventually publish. This journal probably will never publish a long original work. The truth is, with original fiction, I'm a little more careful about what I do and don't post to the web. If it's a killer idea, I might write it down on paper, but unless it's really published (for money, no less), you'll probably never see it. That's too easy to steal. Fan fiction, I'm less protective about. If someone has a similar idea to mine (or even the same), then that's fine. IF they "steal" my idea, that's fine, too, since the fan fiction I write really isn't mine to begin with. Obviously, if someone copies me word for word, I might get offended, but since there is no money to be made in this market, I'll post most of my completed fan fiction. Speaking of fan fiction, you'd probably want to know my favorite fandoms and whatnot. Well, you can expect Star Wars and Harry Potter. Above all. You might see a sliver of the show One Tree Hill. Those are the three main ones. Every once in a while, I'll get out of that box and write something for something else. It's just depends on where my muse takes me. When writing Star Wars fic, I'm a big fan of AU - all the what ifs? that I ask. And also scene interpretation. Of course, scene interpretation isn't really "fiction" (well, not my *own*) at all, at least not in my opinion. I also focus heavily on Anakin. He's a fascinating character to write, with amazing depth. As for pairings: Anakin/Padme, mainly, but pairings usually won't be the biggest factor in Star Wars. Harry Potter is a lot of the same. I enjoy writing about the Marauders, actually. I've always been interested in the backstory of the adults. I may focus more on pairings in HP than SW, my choices being: James/Lily, Snape/Lily (as a tragic story), Harry/Ginny, and Ron/Hermione. In One Tree Hill, if I do write, it will be Nathan/Haley. That's purely a love story. Essays, essays. I don't write them that often, and when I do, it's usually about something that means a lot to me. Essays account for my philosophy in life. They may be spiritual, or even satirical - it depends on my mood when I write them. Now that's out of the way, here's some background information on myself. I've lived in Oklahoma my entire life. I graduated from high school in 2005 and started college that fall (it makes me a freshman, yes) - I'm a digital media major with a graphic design specialization. I'm a member of the church of Christ, and I love God with all my heart and soul. More than anything, in the future I want to get married and have a family. Fics: Nostalgia: This is a short story of mine I wrote toward the end of high school. It's basically about a girl's last day. Original fiction. In the Face of Evil: My first short story in the Harry Potter fandom. It centers around Tom Riddle, the night he killed his father and grandparents. Very dark and disturbing, but it was fun to write. Because of You: This was my first venture into the Star Wars fandom. It's my take on Vader's redemption scene in Return of the Jedi. If you know me, you should know that Anakin/Vader is my favorite character - I love him. Soda, Teddy Bears, and Family: A tale of Christmas for a man with a lost love. I did this for a journal prompt last Christmas. A Means to an End: Another Star Wars fic, starring Palpatine. His thoughts after Anakin tells him about the Tusken slaughter. Never Silent: An ROTS AU vig that I wrote for a challenge on theforce.net. Sad, disjointed, and chilling. The Rich and the Famous: Just something in the rough stages that I'm working on. Won't be finished for a while, if ever. Got other things going on at the moment. My Own Definition: A very, very AU One Tree Hill story. Nathan's a slave, Haley's a queen. It was originally going to be a Star Wars fic, but I changed my mind. Demons: I'm posting this on livejournal first, and it won't be beta-ed until I'm ready to put it up on theforce.net. So, here goes! A Star Wars fic, about Anakin. Very disturbing and dark. Our Street: A memoir about a friendship that has lasted since childhood. Mistress: A short Star Wars vig with a nameless OC as the main character. I like this one because you can make the OC out to be anyone you want him to be. The story is just that a Jedi gives in to a seductress. A Wretch Like Me: A One Tree Hill fic dealing around Nathan and Dan that deals heavily with forgiveness and redemption. The Person in the Mirror: Another short piece I wrote for 30 Memoirs. This one on the theme hatred. Kind of teen angst, but hey...whatever you like. Life Burns: A Star Wars vignette, taking place in ESB and focusing on Luke. My big, big project is the Legacy Series that I'm working in, which is in its beginnings right now. It's a Star Wars AU, and I want to encourage people to go read it. I entered the sw_mythology challenge. The list of themed challenges is here. I will link to the stories as I get them done.
